It's really complex, I didn't use it much myself, but many people found it indispensable

Another thing that's important about the "reblogging" or sharing feature - with the bookmarklet, you could grab shreds/quotes of things

So oftentimes you weren't reading or sharing whole articles, but a snippet. Very efficient for pulling marrow from long texts for example

You in turn were expected to curate what was actually interesting. There was a full link & you could add some written context at the top

Being introduced at a party as having a great gReader feed was an outstanding point of pride, and instantly gave something to talk about
