It tells me something that shouldn't be surprising: most men in SV don't have one woman friend they're close to that would tell them this.
at the same time, I think there are a decent number of men now asking this question who do have women friends also

It feels like there's enough of a power nexus that's listening that makes discussing this stuff more openly not seem career-harming /end

Also, have now heard several stories (not publicized) of HR departments doing the right thing and basically vaporizing people in question
