Expensive. Requires users to have disposable income, even more disposable time, and a background of engineering knldge to keep running

Expensive & requiring knowledge are fine if that's what you promise, like CNC tooling

Shipping a product that takes from people's lives to fulfill your product promise I find largely inexcusable

This is ignoring the quality of 3D manipulation software & info germane to mechanical engineering that I don't think 3DP cos work to teach

Yeah, I think the holistic view of the 3D print process reveals an incredible amount of hurdles.
