Make musical instruments for the disabled / handicapped. That's honestly why I got into programming in the first place, actually..

There's a story here. What were you working on building?

Oh yeah, there definitely is - I had a music scholarship @ a conservatory, but got tendinitis from a summer factory job - couldn't play bass

much anymore. Started to think about music therapy, new instruments...led me down a path where I realized I needed to learn to code.

I had tinkered with electronics as a kid, so figured I could learn. Ended up being mostly self-taught. Went to grad school; was wanting to

make an iPad instrument for those w/limited mobility. Ended up being wayyyy beyond scope of time I had there / my skills at the time
