The only issue I have with a ketogenic diet is they way it takes all of the joy out of eating food.
I am a newb. I don't even miss carbs, I just don't look forward to meals anymore.

Or, to come at it another way, why do you do you not-look-forward-to meals?

I feel like I've been discovering that I maybe don't even like eating meat thaaat much. Food in general just seems less appealing now.
