We name people really boring white ppl names where i'm from, and 'Star' is definitely not on the approved list.

English nouns are in general frowned upon, which is how it took me thirty years to realize how many names are nouns in their native tongue.

Women more often get noun names in English. Amber. Rose. Brandy. Etc
