The @Mrch4ScienceBOS had experiments and games for kids, diverse speakers, v welcoming. I'd respectfully posit it did more good than harm.

Oh, that sounds very fun. But think of a kid in rural outskirts who now believes "I don't belong to science" / "it's not for me"
Science is best when it can be accessed by anyone & not associated with living in a particular city/state where people march.
