For years, I was strongly against TPP. I think I was likely wrong. At the very least, I was poorly informed.

But there also seem to be remarkable good things in it: strong enforceable human rights, environmental protection, union rights guarantees.

I'm still not very informed, but I'm struck by the fact that, holding strong opinions, I was completely unaware of strong positives of TPP.

There's a pattern where strong political opinions form on social media. While well-intentioned I worry can be unhealthy or poorly informed.

The truth is, I was never qualified to have a strong opinion on TPP, and I'm still not. I should have had a lot more uncertainty.
