One isn't necessarily aware of all of the views one is developing a passionate conviction for (for better or for worse)

I agree this is an important thing but I'm not so sure it's limited to twitter!

Agree; additionally aging affects this, etc. which suggests to me perhaps there's actually useful extant advice to draw on here?

I've learned to just log off when the echo starts getting too loud. Wokeness anxiety from being in my bubble too long probably isn't healthy

This is helpful short-term, even so I find long term I am much more confident of particular beliefs and surprise myself this way sometimes

One of Twitter's corporate values is "Seek diverse perspectives." I can't say the company always did it, but it is a useful admonition.

I particularly like how "Seek diverse perspectives" is in the active voice. Without deliberate action, you languish in familiar thoughts.

If we accept a home of our own making / familiar habit leads to indolence.

Yeah but I can seek diverse perspectives but also resolutely believe "they're wrong / just don't understand" - how to protect from THAT?
