I miss doing VIP boards :( made layout so much prettier. though I don't miss worrying about the epoxy fill type
it does make layout SO much prettier (just looking at these boards I got back this week)

8GHz is def pushing it, but you can probably get away with a thin dielectric & multiple vias

The "2-3-4-M-S" layer numbers are on lower layers. I usually stick them in a corner to sanity check stackup postfab
