I miss doing VIP boards :( made layout so much prettier. though I don't miss worrying about the epoxy fill type
When you finally feel up for doing some via-in-pad design because you understand why it's not something you should do in general.

8GHz is def pushing it, but you can probably get away with a thin dielectric & multiple vias
