      He told us that if we kept talking near him he "wouldn't be able to focus" he literally stopped us from talking to say so

      We were talking pretty quietly and only to each other in a loud cafe. It wasn't even clear he was eavesdropping until he broke in.

      this cafe was not at all quiet. Guy was at the next table. I don't think he could have heard one table over from us.
