@Chris_Gammell a thesaurus pairs words by meaning — I would want it to include adjacent meanings also. -
incidentally, a good example is that you want to see "thesaurus" linked from the entry for "dictionary"

well, I think what I want is to look up "thesaurus" and see "treasure" due to the shared root.
