I don't get it. They took the one universally hated feature that sank Google Glass and made a breakout product.

it's all in the details. In this case I would say that 1 light that says when you're filming makes all the difference.

but broadly speaking it's product intent and craft within a social context. One is very different than the other there.

I'm mostly just sad Glass died because I'm awful at remembering people's names and really wanted a face-recognizing HUD :)

@stephenbalaban made a glass app that did that and they kicked him off of the API -
I remember that kerfuffle. Obviously there's privacy concerns but that needed a dialogue, not a hard ban
