How do you mean? That it was faked in some way?

yeeeeeah
-
it's hard to tell exactly why.. but the pixels look wrong to me.
-
hmm, could be though seems like a lot of trouble to fake. behind the scenes version too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PepeRKWsm8I&feature=youtu.be …

in some scenes Neistat is obviously being towed by a ground vehicle
-
what's the visual proof to look out for? I have some people I need to help see this clearly..
-
are you looking at the Neistat’s channel or the other video on Samsung’s channel?
-
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ not sure.. the one that The Verge carried?
-
the behind the scenes video shows the harness and some prep work, it seems legit I guess

it's fake
-
I believe this, is there a breakdown somewhere that I can use to point out what makes this clear?
-
There's a behind the scenes video that makes it look more plausible. http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2016/12/20/14023356/video-drone-snowboarding-casey-neistat …

I'm suspicious because I don't see a battery on that whole rig, nor do I know what temperature it is outside.

The towing-him-behind-the-copter shots are definitely real.
-
I'm suspicious of the carrying shots, as they didn't show any more detail in the behind-the-scenes video
-
I kinda suspect those were done with clever editing and carrying a dummy instead of a person
-
But back-of-the-envelope math says that the lifting capacity of the drone is plausible. That thing is a MONSTER.
-
16x KDE8218XF-120 motors and T-Motor 30"x10.5 props = >550lbs max thrust.
-
See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyUrqZBs2XA … - My napkin math was conservative: max thrust is 1050lbs; 81kW peak. All out of a 165lb drone.
