as a teenager I shaved my head, actively rejected the concept of "looking good" and was full-time in cargo pants..over pockets

I wore a "hip holster" at some point for a few years (like a fanny pack made by Burners)

in my later years, I just constantly have my hands full of things I'm carrying, and am always setting them on tables

also, puffy vests with pockets appear to be slightly acceptable (in NorCal anyway)
