Was recently out at breakfast with several other women friends, fully 3 of us admitted to listening to audiobooks while putting on make-up.

some friends listen non stop to audio books. I am a little jealous, but just can't get into the habit
-
I think it's tricky, it took a long time for it to stick, for me. What do you think makes it not great?
-
Finding the right time and the right book to listen to. I clearly have a Getting Started Anxiety Syndrome of sorts.
-
oh I see. that's interesting! I rarely "listen to an audiobook" as a dedicated activity. It's a walking/commuting pastime

I listen to audiobooks at every opportunity. Don't wear much makeup though.
-
I've come to appreciate it as an opportunity to make progress in some books

I just don't put on make up. I do however love audio books.
-
sounds good too!
-
I used to wear makeup. These days it's just too much faff. Also expensive...

-- it's an awesome practice. I usually listen to music. (I still prefer reading to listening).

ditto - my habit grew from podcasts -> audiobooks. Teeth + laundry + dishes. Silence now seems like a wasted opportunity.
