@briandorsey my life changed with Tab Outliner and Great Suspender chrome extensions. Now my tabs can go on forever.
@briandorsey (I'm currently down to under 100 in a single window, which I believe is an all-time low)
@starsandrobots through self observation I appear to be treating tabs as a double ended queue. Hot keys for jumping to each end. :)
@briandorsey omg my methods are much worse (tab left until I remember what I was doing/hit an interesting article). What are the hotkeys?
@starsandrobots So... command 1-8 take you to the first one-eight tabs.... but nine is magic... it takes you to the last tab.
@starsandrobots So, I use ⌘+1 and ⌘+9 to get to each end of the "queue" (like many queues in my life, the goal is not completion. :) )
@starsandrobots I've been saying for years someone needs to make a melting tab add-on, so your stack overflow tab auto closes after 30 min
@astazangasta at some point I envisioned something like "page yellowing" (the way paperback books turn yellow as they age) for tabs
@starsandrobots Gotta collect 'em all!
@richard_a_sim After years of curation I am confident I have the best tab collection.
@starsandrobots the only acceptable response is to show them 3+ other windows with similar tab density and then open a new tab just for them
