@starsandrobots I'd rather see SICP+Racket taught; Lisp has little of that pesky syntax to trip you up :D! -
@cr1901 I think I actually disagree — specifically because of the syntax -
@cr1901 it's too unusual/breaks expectations by inexperience programmers; hence not a great first language in this age -

@starsandrobots SICP is a very difficult book for me to get through. I think someone with no prior experience would have an easier time. -
@starsandrobots But Lisp didn't trip me up b/c of the syntax lol. No, that was everything else (esp. evaluation).
