Another thing about hoverboards I haven't seen anyone talk about: they serve as a perfect public transit gap-fill solution.

YES I agree they look pretty silly right now; we're not used to it yet.

But if you're not taking lyft/uber; If you have to make a bus cnxn from BART; $2-300/year may be worth it for the portable moving walkway.

(Hoverboards look far less silly to me when viewed as a stand-in for failure of infrastructure)
