Working on some hardware designs today. My next project is a dream come true for me, and for anyone who taught themselves to build circuits.

@starsandrobots Such a difficult decision. Red would be true to the spirit of the thing. -
@1lenore I agree. But does it detract from delight? Red is such a tropey LED color by now! (Like bright blue) -
@1lenore Considerations about LED color and identity? Will it match well with the mask color? (Which is also a choice I need to make?) -
@1lenore I might be experiencing some choice fatigue.

@starsandrobots Depends on the colour of the board. I'd stick to green, red, or maybe orange if you feel adventurous. -
@boldport it's not going to be osh purple, but I still have to pick that too. -
@boldport (<3 osh but I will need to make a design choice for the product version)

@starsandrobots RGB? You know you want to... -
@KarlTheMartian no, I feel that would be confusing for the purposes of this board. -
@starsandrobots fair enough. Then I vote for pink!

@starsandrobots It's the first circuit I ever built, you should use old low-brightness diffused red LEDs -
@macegr@starsandrobots Yes! the 640 nm ones are dimmer and a deeper red — just like vintage
