@quinzee I think it was more useful as a "teach you to learn a language" skill than the specific. Fluency can be quickly regained.
@quinzee I was kind of aggressive in my approach, I wanted more time for science but my HS required 3 years language credits

@quinzee might help also I grew up in dual language home speaking German with my mom for first few years. Becomes familiar to pick back up -

@quinzee yeah for some reason elementary school is a tough time for language. Also when I started fighting w my mom "speak English to me!" -

@quinzee so I took an option to take year 1 in 8th grade, got the book for year 2 that summer, tested and did year 3 as a freshman -

@quinzee no I just wanted to take them all + APs most people had to choose which few, my HS had most STEM AP classes (except CS!)
