So many resources are programming-language-specific. Language becomes a silo (even Algolish "pseudocode").

I specialize in creating highly-structured and metered learning experiences. I should diversify a bit.

I need to collect and maintain pointers to resources for small-scale learning experiences.

I am perhaps in denial about how structured my own courses really are, at least in effect.

How different is my registered student's experience from that at RC? Probably not as different as I would like to believe.

I need to figure out how to open my materials up more, make them more modular and accessible.

This means giving up control that I have hoarded. I claimed it was for the learner's benefit. I should challenge that assumption more.

Because while I think what I do works, it does perpetuate inequity. Perhaps a less-predictable effect on more people is worthwhile.

@plragde what would have helped make things work better? (perhaps: while providing an infinite map of learning possibility?)

@starsandrobots Make things better where? RC, or university? Answers are somewhat different (not that I have answers).

@starsandrobots Maintenance is difficult. And I think RC in some ways is proud of the chaos. Don't want to alter its character.

@plragde For example I could imagine that helping people write structured goals to check-in against, could be helpful

@starsandrobots It can be difficult for someone starting a project to come up with structured goals, no?

@starsandrobots Sometimes that is better done in retrospect - which is why continuity / access to past experience would help.
