Connectors to know about like e.g. Anderson Power Poles, good/reliable molex SKUs, etc. What do you like?

@starsandrobots I use powerpoles for my wheelchair modding projects - love 'em. Never seen one fail, though they do pop apart if pulled.

@starsandrobots That's really the only one I use, although I've had fun realizing that most power connectors are standard (1/2)

@starsandrobots and thus I can replace some bulky disability equip chargers with, like, USB power. (2/2)

@starsandrobots Manuals never say "yeah, this is an EIAJ-02", or "this takes 6.3V max, close enough to 5V", but if you look closely ... grin

@metaforgotten that's pretty awesome. APP are also the only connectors I've ever trusted for home motorcycle repairs. And they're so robust.

@starsandrobots I convinced the vendor to put APP on my chair when I bought it 3 yrs ago, and that made USB trivial: http://www.powerwerx.com/batteries-chargers/usbbuddy-powerpole-12v-usb-5v-device-charger.html …

@starsandrobots Yeah! We used those for data for NeoPixels on Xylophage. Nice for mechanical and physical connections. Little data loss.
