Saturday morning, still slowly learning to read and write Chinese. Problem: learning characters is easy, but 2-grams are hard (to find).
@starsandrobots Is there any good source or list of popular combinations of characters with idiomatic translations?

@starsandrobots there are some decent resources for Japanese but I have no idea about Chinese. It’s tough! -
@ahhrrr what (where are) the resources you found for Japanese? (My Chinese book has a Japanese variant, I've had good luck via publishers) -
@starsandrobots the hard part for me was always looking up characters in the first place… -
@ahhrrr apple trackpad input changes everything! -
@starsandrobots seriously! But its Chinese support seems better than Japanese from what I can tell -
@ahhrrr ah interesting! I would love to compare notes sometime on what you thought were good strategies for learning languages like these.

@starsandrobots it's on my list of Non-Programming Languages I've Been Meaning To Try But Haven't Gotten Around To Yet.
