Some of the most rewarding pursuits I've found are learning fields & especially human languages. One thing I wish existed — something like Project Euler, but instead of math problems intended as targets for programmers to write computer programs to solve, a body of non-idiomatic common sentences as targets to translate. Does this exist?

Bunch of things here. For one, in my experience of Duolingo you're given foreign words, n-grams, phrases, and asked to translate them into English, rather than versa. I want to just go down a big list of phrases and put work into figuring out translations.
