I just want to say, there's a real life-changing ability to fix stuff anywhere derived of lithium batteries. This seems like a bit of a quiet revolution, opening doors that weren't possible before —pic.twitter.com/boluABwDXk

I'm not trying to be an extreme crafter, here — having an RC aircraft hobby
often means needing to do field repairs. Not having to drive back to a workshop to fix stuff and get it going again is - yes really -
life-changing
I have done SMT soldering using only a BiC lighter. I have carried refills in my field kit for a proper butane soldering iron. The TS-100 and LiPo DC jack is by far the best option I have ever used. I almost prefer it to the bench station, since you're untethered (like AirPods.)
What's the battery? IIRC it must be at least 12v for the TS100?
Don't remember. Grabbed some pack, might have been a 6s which would be well in range. Most batteries 4S+ would do the trick.
