I read it and was inspired to move to Silicon Valley right after. It was big when it first came out. But doesn’t seem to have aged well in the popular consciousness.

I thought it was much better known than this! But the experience of explaining what the browser wars even were to an intern who was just a few years younger than me, some years ago, helped me see how much context has been so quickly lost in tech.
