i worked at hobby lobby in high school and they didn’t use barcodes for anything so sometimes i’d ring up $30 whatevers as $3 if an old lady told me i had nice skin

Once the nice lady at the Michael’s register noticed I was trying to scrounge together art supplies for school and she used a one-item-only 25% coupon on each item I bought 🥺
I’ve done that. My boss got pissed b/c it was supposed to be 1 coupon per transaction. The next time I asked the customer if they had 15 minutes to save 25% off everything, & did like 2 dozen individual transactions. I also handed out 40% coupons when I worked at Hobby Lobby.
