This is the comment that leads to the scam. The hacked account + pings the original comment (even though Google+ is shuttering soon) and asks for a vote and the chance for a around the world giveaway to some random nations, plus the link. Random text and all.pic.twitter.com/Obg8HNlnG9

The link leads to this obviously fake
@staralliance page, and yes, there is a spelling error, a clear sign that says yes, this is a scam.pic.twitter.com/WcKTkoK0tp

The landmarks used in this scam range from the Burj Al-Arab in Dubai to a Myan pyramid, with some other inclusions. 7 questions in all, guess 4 right to move forward.pic.twitter.com/iZeCSwNb1Y

Except, you can't. For some reason no more entries are accepted from your area and you have to get to a "special offer" from "one of their partners", which leads to a endless rabbit hole of scams and fake giveaways. Plus excessive Chrome notifications.pic.twitter.com/n9xr0flYHk

This isn't endorsed by
@staralliance at all (as they will probably confirm in the next few days) and this will put you more in debt than the chances of you going onto a plane via this fake giveaway.@TeamYouTube Can you please confirm if this is all fake?1 reply 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread
