    Someone needs to go help Texas Service Center dig out the AOS applications from pre-FY 2021. The processing times on those cases are beyond the pale. The case inquiry date is April 2020 (20 months ago) for cases with current PDs that take an hour to adjudicate.

    This is exactly correct

    The more I think about this year, the failure of the Senate to hold a real impeachment trial (a failure of the Democrats), and the failure of the Senate to convict (a failure of the Republicans), were key. The failure to hold Trump to account led to a cascade of unaccountability.

    Obviously we should show compassion for COVID victims regardless of whether they're vaccinated. But I'm getting really sick of the constant scolding about "understanding" and "building trust" when there's no evidence it works. America's low vaxx rates are a political failure.

    So giving up simply is not an option. We have to try and reach these people and we have to try and understand their fears and address them and we all have to work to build trust in each other.

    I did a very brief hit on a Fox show this week. Quite sensibly, I needed to provide some information about when I’d been vaccinated and show what you might call a “vaccine passport” in order to enter the studio.

    The BBC is reporting that Simon Case, the Cabinet Secretary leading the inquiry into parties at Downing Street, may have had a party take place in his own private office. His position as chair of the inquiry is under question.
