86 cents here in socialist Alberta, even with our Carbon Tax. How is that possible?

Brian, don’t you understand that when gas prices are low in Ontario it’s a clear indication that the Ford Nation is winning its war on socialism, and when they’re low in Alberta it’s an indication we need to elect the UCP to fix the mess caused by socialism?

Stan, preserve your self-worth (and our potential admiration) by not tweeting this type of speaking notes without thinking through the accuracy of their content. Challenge the PC staffers who write notes that are jingoistic and/or inaccurate. Your government is a gnat to OPEC.
-
This is so very well stated, but will no doubt fall on deaf ears given that 'even' Cabinet Ministers are pushing this lie. No doubt this MLA has also perfected the seal-like clapping in the legislature that signals someone ready for advancement.

You too? I think every MPP has tweeted out this lie and most of them have showed up on my wall. Can’t wait to see you take credit for the prices rising lol

Spotted gas at 88.9 in YYC this evening and that's with 6.73¢/l carbon tax.

Happy New Year, Diane Marie!

You, too, Timothy.

Actually that’s incorrect. OPEC has been in a fight internally and externally. They have been mass producing along with the states which is the real reason for the low gas prices. The price is expected to increase in mid February since they started reducing production.
-
And when world oil prices rebound and gas prìces go up in Canada, it is almost a certainty that Ford will blame Trudeau. It must make a politician feel almost invincible when he believes that his base does not care if he tells the truth, as long as he confirms their prejudices.

Dude. Oil prices have tanked.
-
I wonder how Alberta conservatives feel about Ontario PCs celebrating the fall of oil prices.
-
It’s complicated. But apparently pump price and wellhead price are not much connected. Otherwise it would be 75 cents a litre
-
Actually, based on previous ratio, pump price should be in $0.60 range.

Saw 88.9/lt full service at Esso on Fanshawe Park Rd couple hours ago...
-
Sounds all rosy until you look at diesel price.
-
That's another scam. 1 theory I heard was that trans co's can charge fuel surcharge so no impact to them. Trouble is we can't.
