      My sister is 37, has two young children, and was diagnosed with breast cancer this fall. @premera denied her coverage for Neulasta on Friday. This leaves her susceptible to infection and disease. They say they are looking at her appeal and will decide tonight. Do the right thing.

      HER APPEAL WAS DENIED. @premera How can you do this? Two small children, sick from chemo, and you call to tell her that she has been denied Neulasta during a deadly flu season. SHAME ON YOU and this isn't over by a long shot.

      Oh, Heather, I am so sorry. When my appeal was denied, my practitioner called my insurance directly. It might be time to have your sister's oncologist contact them as well.
