What possible interest does the Secretary of State have to appeal a statutory interpretation that allows voters to vote an extra day— which they initially believed was the law and which was permitted in the past? This is straight up voter suppression. They know better. #gapol

My deepest condolences to the family of . He possessed a formidable mind, served as a thoughtful leader and was a dear true friend. Our politics differed, but David never allowed them to permanently divide. God’s peace to a great Georgian who will be missed. #gapol

I I know that throughout this campaign, Georgians’ stories were told and lives were changed because of what we did together. This isn't about politics or even policies. It has always been about people. Righteous fights never end. Let's keep getting it done.

Over the last year, I have met thousands of people face to face in Georgia. From college students in Milledgeville to the oldest resident in Baconton and countless other Georgians — they were ready to fight for the Georgia of our greatest imagination.

I got into this race for one reason only: to fight for more, for our children and generations to come. And whether we do it from the governor's mansion or from the street, from the Capitol or from our community, we will keep fighting for more in the state of Georgia.

To every volunteer, every organizer, every door knocker, every prayer warrior, every donor, every person who lifted your hands and voices. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. To the people of Georgia, thank you for believing in me and for fighting for change with me.

After 2018, I got back immediately to working for Georgians. I paid off the medical debt of 68k people, installed 181+ Wi-fi devices in rural communities and supported families who lost loved ones due to gun violence. Imagine what I could do as governor when we win today.

Representation matters. It matters that we have a governor who embraces diversity as our strength. It matters that every community in Georgia sees themselves as a beacon for change.

Because of my family, I have faith and belief in more. Real progress happens even if it's slow sometimes. And my responsibility is to make sure the next generation has an even better story than my own.

Together, our historic Democratic ticket represents farmers, small business owners, refugees and those who have fought for justice & equality. We stand on the shoulders of civil rights giants in our great state as we continue the fight for a GA that is more just and more fair.
