In my 11 years in the legislature, I never saw a bill approved at such speed. This wasn’t efficiency. Republicans want to hide their shameful actions from public scrutiny. Instead, they will see sunlight and legal action.

Now more than ever, we need federal action to protect voting rights as we continue to fight against these blatantly unconstitutional efforts that are nothing less than Jim Crow 2.0.

Let us know what we outside of Georgia can do to help. We can not let this injustice stand.

If I can write letters, make phone calls, please let me know. What Republicans are doing in Georgia can quickly spread to other states unless they are stopped.

How can we help? I'm from NC and my 2 senators are problematic to say the least as well as my congressman. Please come up with an action plan that ordinary citizens like me can participate in and implement so that all people have the #votingrights they deserve. #ForThePeopleAct

Please run for Governor next year! 👏
If Congress takes your suggestion and makes an exception to the filibuster for voting rights bills, and the For the People Act gets passed, SB 202 is mostly invalidated and your W is a real possibility.
