NY's decision to cancel its primary creates a false choice: asking voters to pick safety or participation in our democracy. This is wrong. Elections officials can hold safe, accessible elections, where voters cast ballots by mail or safely in person. #COVID19 is no excuse.
We must fight for our democracy as we face this pandemic. We cannot make voting less accessible or totally unavailable. I will be voting by mail for @JoeBiden in Georgia’s 6/9 primary. New Yorkers should not have their own choice taken away.

Bernie dropped out and endorsed Biden. He lost and shouldn't be on the ballot anywhere. Are any other former candidates demanding they remain on the ballot? What makes Bernie so special? The primary is over. It's time to unite behind Biden. Why are you backing this insane play?
Getting a final winner is only part of a primary. Also about giving all party members a chance to say what they believe; so that the party platform reflects the opinions of the whole party. We now have to hold a convention with no way to tell what voters in later states believe.

In one of Cuomo's pressers last week, they said they were going to mail out a pre-stamped application for an absentee ballot to everyone. Not sure why they went away from that, unless they decided not to print the ballots due to budget issues.
They are not cancelling the NY congressional primary. That is still going forward with likely fewer voters, which is their intent with this.
They are sending every registered voter ballots in the mail to vote by mail. This should make it easier to vote. No voter suppression here!!!
