We are outraged, but we are not discouraged. Your right to vote is yours. It is a right our ancestors fought and bled for, and we have no choice but to continue that fight. It is time to pick a side, to pick up the baton, to fight like our future depends on it—because it does.

We can win, but only if we all step up right now. To reach every voter, knock on every door, give rides to the polls. To fight until everyone knows the power of their vote, has a reason to use it, and sees what is at stake if they do not. Join the fight:http://bit.ly/gablue

Defending our right to vote is personal for me. I grew up hearing my parents' stories about how they had to fight for their right to vote in the Jim Crow South. Their bravery influenced my decision to create the New Georgia Project to register every eligible voter in the state.

Our ability to participate in government, to elect our leaders and to improve our lives, is contingent upon our ability to access the ballot. We know in our heart of hearts that voting is a sacred right. Now, it is time to step up and live that truth through our actions.

Now is the time to defend our values & protect the vulnerable—from Randolph to Rabun Co.—and to understand that our democracy only works when we work for it. Your right to vote is yours. It's a right worth fighting for. And we're going to give you a reason to use it in November.

@ATLHawks &@AtlantaFalcons It's time to step up and use your resources to help fight this issue. Owners & players don't get to stick their heads in the sand and need to get involved to help level the playing field for this candidate.@NAACPAtlanta@NAACPGA@NAACP@repjohnlewis -
No one person should have the right to impede people's ability to
#vote in #2018. If anything an election of this magnitude should require more polls to be opened. The playing field IS NOT LEVELED! Where are our#leaders and why are they not out#fighting this issue?@CoryBooker -
Should people contact their state officials about this, too? Doesn't this sort of thing have legislative oversight? If I lived in GA, I'd be calling my state Senator & Rep, GA Secretary of State, and any other relevant state office. http://www.legis.ga.gov/en-US/default.aspx … http://sos.ga.gov

They need to as these are social times which require making the adjustments needed to amplify their reach. News stations have reported on it but it feels like a small flame instead of the raging fire it should be. I mean this is Jim Crow Revisited 2018!

Is this happening on the 6th of November. I am willing to drive to Georgia and give these people a ride. Anyone with me.???? I live in WA state, I vote by mail, my vote will be in long before I go.

I also am doing absentee voting and only live 40 miles from Randolph county. I want to go and will once something is organized. Would like to go for early voting. This is a poor area, so I would print up absentee ballots to hand out. Would need someone with ipad to check

Hard to imagine, but a Brian Kemp governorship would make things even worse. Protect voters' rights today, so that they can elect
@staceyabrams. The people are with her. That's why the GOP is trying to manufacture a win: they can't win on the merits. - 1 more reply
