    Thank you to & for this work. Voter suppression occurs in Georgia + across the country. Elections aren’t for politicians. They give voice to citizens’ values. No one should be silenced in our democracy. And bad actors should be held accountable.

    Honored to testify under oath against voter suppression before the House Oversight Committee this morning, alongside a mother of the movement Diane Nash. The fraud is the claim of voter fraud as a way of not dealing with real voter suppression.

    . isn’t a whim for me. I can’t change 2018’s outcome, but I am driven by travesties like this: a ersatz public servant cheering for voter confusion & threatened loss of power by Georgia’s citizens. He got a promotion for his efforts.
