This fact alone negates the possibility that spread was ever exponential.

We actually knew this all along, since under 20% of people on the floating Perri dish Diamond Princess were ever infected.

What was the year-over-year increase in deaths in the UK for 2020/2019? Given that population mortality is about 1%, you are showing us 19% excess. The London Blitz, by comparison, killed maybe 0.6% of the London population.

2 500 000 deaths so far. Some dumbasses didn’t believe there was a Spanish flu. But history says different.

Well here’s my experience with COVID: My husband’s co-worker gave it to him during a 3-min conversation. My husband then gave it to me. And the 2 of us gave it to our 2 toddlers. So everyone in my household of 4 tested positive. So maybe your theory is wrong?

Overdispersion is not a secret and likely has to do with sheddding, not with being "not susceptible" of the household-members. IOW: when the next person brings it into the outcome may be completely different.

Your anecdotal evidence is not convincing me. It shouldn’t convince you or any of your readers, either, as it is totally irrelevant and invalid. PS my family of 4 all got Covid from our son, who brought it home from work.

Ah you made the mistake of all having a test, you would have escaped it.. if you hadn't been tested....
