Do Kwon here is pointing out that what he said earlier was the *real interest rate* (meaning: taking into account inflation) is CURRENTLY about 11%. 19.5% = currently Anchor APR 8.5% = recently reported inflation Real interest rate: (19.5% - 8.5%) = 11%

If the

“Earn” rate goes down, or if the inflation rate goes up, then this 11% figure would decrease. If inflation rate goes down, or Anchor’s earn rate goes up, 11% figure would increase. The first scenario is more likely, with 1.5%/mo drops to earn rate soon.
