This is the way. Bitcoin community was welcoming to developers pre-2016. We can do the same now.
Developers can use Bitcoin however they want, it only makes BTC stronger.

Yes, but it's a reaction to the casino on altchains (and probably some attempt to save others from the scams we all fell into). The Most toxic typically don't write code and often don't even run nodes.
