Staking yield is higher because inflation goes to a subset of all atom holders (stakers)

Almost none - Iβm just clarifying bc i suspect you confused the differential between the staking yield and inflation to come from transaction fees - this is not the case - staking yield is just higher because inflation is divided by all atoms and SY divided by atoms staked

Yes, inflation is devided by stakers. So if inflation is 5% and 50% is staked you will get 10% rewards.
