Bearish on increasing buybacks - a third of all protocol revenue being used for buybacks is high and likely will slow growth or weaken the yield reserve

Imo anything that weakens yield reserve would be no bueno but token hodlers need some love too

Im not saying token holders dont deserve love
Im saying simply increasing buybacks is a IQ20 move- anchor buybacks dont even take tokens out of circulation, it just results in gov farmers profiting
We need to reduce emissions and reward holding behavior
BTW, I named my Mage Luna.😄
So there’s def another way. More buybacks would dilute the token which isn’t good. Rewarding hodlers in value accrual + airdrops works. Also some sort of integration with could move this thing along.
Everyone’s waiting for an ohm fork to do something unique…

Note for everyone reading: refactoring token economics is a delicate exercise in balancing many dependencies with secondary and tertiary effects
If ur thinking of mechs “ok maybe this” and building conviction around it while you’re tweeting from the toilet, probably suboptimal

Turn farmers into investors.
Vest everything.
Vest governance rewards.
Vest liquidity rewards.
Vest airdrops.
Rewards must be worth staying for though.
