But unless there’s a fixed “end date”, this may not play out as planned? With no end date to this redelgation + if market forces are perfect, everyone redelegates and each validator ends up having equal amount of voting power. Top 5 will then = every other validator. Am I wrong?

Fair boss. Just seems optimal to redelegate equally to benefit from the impending protocol launches. 1,000 LUNA >> 200 Orion, 200 Angel, rest split between smaller validators. If everyone does that we should see some normalising. But maybe not everyone’s a terra nerd like me.
Folks WILL get carried away; “free” money, why not min-max everything 🤷‍♀️
