Think long and hard about why regulators are fine letting DeFi liquidity form around centralized "regulated" stablecoins. Control the money and you control the world. Allow noone to have that control.

$USDC has been added as a settlement layer for Visa, and they specifically spoke to $USDCs regulated nature for their decision. Also, Visa commented that future CBDCs will also be used. As $UST is unregulated, do you see a clash with regulators on the horizon? If so, the plan?

Will governments have the ability to tax Terra stablecoins? It seems unlikely a government would allow an unregulated currency to gain major traction, especially if there is no way for them to reliably collect tax revenue.

Personally, every way I look at it the Terra ecosystem has more potential than the traditional system and very well may replace it. But tax seems to be a major issue if the traditional form of governance were to continue.
