After Shapeshift and BitMex were forced to implement KYC, I think it's only a matter of time until the same happens to Uniswap.
The question is when?

Pretty trivial to do a kycless fork ... liquidity will move

Do you think a fork would work in the long run? BitMex tried to avoid this by setting up their HQ in some "regulation friendly country" and ultimately still susceptible to KYC.

I mean yeah more than anything if uniswap added kyc in their v3 contract liquidity will just stay in v2 and some community member will whip up a frontend

But that community member will be susceptible to the same regulations. KYC seems inevitable.

Why? Its super easy to do anonymously, and you can have 100 frontend webpages to the same contracts
Sure the tech is easy but the risk of possibly allowing illegal activities or worse terrorist financing will have govts track it down immediately and shut it down like the rest.

I mean i will do it if they force uniswap to add kyc. Fortune favors the brave.
