I don't get #openlibra. What makes libra interesting is its massive reachable user base. What's the point of forking the codebase? It won't be able to compete wrt usership.

It’s on the premise that Libra wins. Developers won’t be able to freely deploy into “their” network. An interoperable, network without a controlling body might capture some of the heat.

Well then the intricate, probably non-mainstream applications of the future will end up here. 🤷🏻‍♂️ either way, it’s a lot of what if’s. I still put Libra’s chance of successful launch at below 50%
