This is beyond politics. Losing this coverage could be the difference between life or death for millions of Americans living with pre-existing conditions.https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/plum-line/wp/2018/09/05/republicans-keep-on-trying-to-strip-protections-for-pre-existing-conditions/?utm_term=.85a4ada075ad …

Democrats are the guilty ones here, after eight years of Obama and his lap dogs (Stabenow being one) we are in trouble not from Trump but from the liberal idiots that won't let him move on with what he was elected to do. They still think they will get Hillary in the White House.

No one serious thinks that so just stop. There’s no constitutional mechanism for it. That’s not how it works. Now, the GOP has control of everything. If they want something done the only ones stopping them is themselves. They’re useless. You know this. Why lie?

Stop with the nonsense. There is no shortage of health care professionals or services. Anyone, ANYONE, that needs health care gets treated - NOBODY is turned away from hospitals, if they need treatment! Now, would you please just resign. John James for Senate.

I don’t know how that is any of your business or how it matters to my point, but for one, my son - who chose to pay the personal mandate penalty instead borrowing money to pay the ridiculously high premiums.

You were taking about no one being turned away. Who do you know that has no insurance? A friend? A family member? You must have a reason to think this untrue thing.

Call any hospital in America and ask them if you have to have insurance to get treatment. Not one hospital will tell you that insurance is required to receive treatment.

Not true. Emergency care is a given - nobody that needs medical care is denied care, because they are uninsured. There is no such requirement.

You make all these Cadillac plans that are unaffordable. It won’t work. Do we let someone with a lot of accidents on their driving record get cheap car insurance?? NO then why for health care.

Such a good point? 😳. A bad driving record & pre-existing conditions are no where near the same! One you can control the other you can’t!! Pregnancy & child birth are pre-existing conditions! Asthma, surviving cancer, birth defects, etc!

False you can’t control bad luck of repeated accidents. Yes some is skill but some is also wrong time wrong place. What about someone who is an alcoholic, medical pre existing condition should they have the same auto price as sober people?

U r really trying to make this auto insurance/pre-existing conditions work huh? So, along the same lines if auto insurance is mandatory why shouldn’t medical insurance be mandatory? In many states there is a difference btw at fault & not at fault accidents when it comes
