Your argument suggests you don't understand the horrible uphill battle Independent candidates face. Especially on the national level. I agree the two party system needs to go, but that won't happen as long as those invested in the status quo hold all the power.
The progressives fighting for change need to run Independent. To hell with the Democratic Party. Time for Independents to shine. Break the 2 party system.
