Growing up a Russian Jew, *saving* money was taught as the obvious thing to do with it. Saving reliably brings Comfort. And yet, perhaps Power is more a function of the *amount that moves through you*, rather than how much you accumulate.

Exactly my family's motto: money is a Comfort. Insurance against bad times. But it seems to come from a place where poverty is an eternal threat. What ceiling before poverty is not just around the corner?
